We are delighted to announce Khodor Mattar, former Head of Capital Development at Trafigura, has joined G3 as a Senior Advisor.
Khodor is the former Head of Capital Development at Trafigura, one of the world’s largest physical commodities trading groups, where he was responsible for investment partnerships with alternative asset managers, including Private Equity and Credit funds, Infrastructure Funds and Sovereign Wealth Funds across the company’s three pillars: Oil and Petroleum Products; Metals, Minerals and Bulk Commodities; and Gas, Power and Renewables.
Prior to joining Trafigura in 2021, Khodor spent nine years at Temasek, in Singapore and later New York, where he was Managing Director, Americas, overseeing private equity, public equity and fund investments focused on the energy sector. From 1998 to 2012, Khodor was an investment banker at Rothschild & Co, where he advised energy sector clients on M&A, capital raisings and privatisations. He started his career as a Petroleum Engineer at Schlumberger and is currently an Independent Board Member at Repsol E&P.
