We are thrilled to welcome David Cohen, former Acting Director of the CIA, as Head of G3's US Advisory Board.
David is the longest serving Deputy Director of the Central Intelligence Agency in more than 50 years, having served as Deputy Director on two separate occasions for a total of six years. In early 2021, David also served as the Acting Director of the CIA. Before the CIA, David served in the US Department of the Treasury as Under Secretary for Terrorism and Financial Intelligence and Assistant Secretary for Terrorist Financing, overseeing policy development and implementation related to sanctions and money laundering. Prior to his service in US Government positions, he was a partner at the law firm WilmerHale, where he advised clients on national security and financial compliance matters and conducted numerous sensitive internal investigations.
