Case Manager – Sub-Saharan Africa

We are looking for a Manager in our Africa practice in London. The successful candidate will manage strategic intelligence and due diligence projects within G3’s Africa team.

The role will require an individual who is a self-motivated and hard-working team player with a track record in the business intelligence industry or a related sector. The successful candidate will likely have a strong academic record, be an excellent problem solver and have a natural curiosity in international affairs, business and politics.

The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • End-to-end project management of enhanced due diligence and strategic intelligence projects across Sub-Saharan Africa;
  • Drafting client ready reports and supporting visuals;
  • Briefing clients and other external and internal stakeholders on project work;
  • Establishing and maintaining relationships with people to support the development of G3’s network;
  • Conducting comprehensive research of public records globally;
  • Drafting project proposals and assisting with wider business development activities.

Experience & Skills

The successful candidate will ideally have:

  • A minimum of three years’ experience in the business intelligence industry or a relevant sector;
  • A strong academic record;
  • Fluency in English and French (additional relevant languages will be an advantage);
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Experience in researching complex matters with knowledge of public record databases and other relevant sources of information;
  • Expertise in at least one of the main Africa markets, paired with understanding of commercial and regulatory risks faced by investors in the region;
  • The ability to think critically and creatively and to be resourceful in the face of challenges;
  • The ability to work under pressure, manage multiple projects at the same time and meet client deadlines;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and an eagerness to be part of a collegial and collaborative team.
